IHOP has been a popular family restaurant for over five decades mainly because of the wonderful menu, the affordable, everyday dining experience and the warm friendly service offered to clients.
ihop scary face pancakesThis October, many restaurant chains are offering fall-friendly items on their menus.  IHOP has planned a treat for pancake lovers this Fall.  From October 3 through October 31, 2011, participating IHOP restaurants across America will be serving up a special “no tricks – just treats” menu.  Also, kids 12 and under can get a FREE Scary Face Pancake on Friday, October 28, 2011!And, you don’t need any coupons to avail of this special deal from IHOP.
IHOP will be offering their famous pumpkin pancakes made with real pumpkin and spices, topped with a delicious, creamy topping.  Those who don’t particularly like pumpkin pancakes, there’s no need to worry.  IHOP will also be offering their tasty All-You-Can-Eat buttermilk pancakes throughout the month of October.  The specialty pancakes will be made available in a combo or a la carte with prices starting at $4.99.  They begin with fluffy pancakes, golden hash browns and eggs any style.  But customers will be able to add ham, pork sausage links or crisp bacon for an extra charge.  As usual, the All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes will be served three at a time till guests are satisfied.

During the same period, IHOP will also be offering a special Count Spatula Scary Face Pancake in the kids menu.  This will be an oversized buttermilk pancake adorned with a whipped topping mouth, and a strawberry nose, and served along two mini OREO® cookies and a handful of candy corn that kids will be able to use for decorating the pancake and making their own unique scary face pancake.  And the best part is, IHOP will be offering the Scary Face Pancake free on 28 October from 7am to 10pm to kids aged 12 and under as a sort of early-Halloween treat!  And,  parents can sign up on ihop.com any day in the month for a wake up call on 28 October from Count Spatula regarding this fabulous offer to make sure they don’t forget.
Kids will surely look forward to IHOP’s famous Funny Face Pancake turning scary with the “design-your-own” Scary Face Pancake offer this Halloween.  Actually, Count Spatula was the winning entry picked from over 1,000 entries as the name for Scary-Face-Pancake through as contest held last October.  Like all other items on IHOP’s Kids Menu, the Count Spatula Scary Face Pancake too will have under 600 calories.
IHOP has designed this special Halloween menu to celebrate the season in a playful and delicious way, and that this was their way of thanking their loyal customers for their continued patronage. Today, there are 1,522 IHOP restaurants in 50 states and the District of Columbia, and in Canada, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Mexico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
