From last minute concert tickets to random celebrity run-ins, there's no question the Big Apple is full of surprises. We can't tell you what you'll find when poking into random alleys and trotting down streets you've never been to before, but if you want to find out, sign on for this Adventure —a zany scavenger hunt orchestrated by cityHUNT—to see the metropolis in a whole new light.
The fun begins at the Highline Ballroom in Chelsea, where our team will be ready and waiting to help spur on the excitement. After signing in, we'll break up into teams of four to six (feel free to sign up with pals if you want to make your own team and you'll receive a team registration link upon purchase) and receive one digital camera per team. Then we'll set out into the city chasing after clues, solving puzzles, and stepping up to all kinds of goofy challenges. Prepare to chat with strangers, weasel into places we (maybe) shouldn't be, and act giddier than a five-year-old on a Halloween sugar high. To prove that we've completed each successive task, we'll take photos at each and every stop.
After two-and-a-half hours of frantically running around town, we'll convene at a surprise location for an after-party featuring drink specials, available for purchase at the location, and a slideshow of all the pics we took throughout the day. Points will be awarded and official winners will be declared. But for those who don't get to take home the trophy and bragging rights, never fear: We'll be too busy laughing over the photos from the day—and reliving every crazy moment—to notice.
the fine print
One voucher is good for one person • Ages 21+ only (Bring valid photo ID) • Event subject to sell out at capacity • Link to register a team of 4-6 people in advance will be provided on your purchased voucher (solo sign-ups are encouraged too) • Costumes encouraged • Digital camera will be provided for the duration of the scavenger hunt • Groups of four to six will be made (feel free to create your own group) • We will put you in groups if you don’t have a group • Register the members of your team with Team Name at the following link before event date: cityhunt.org/livingsocial-cheslea/ • Scavenger Hunt is easily accomplished on foot the entire time so wear comfortable shoes • A refund may be collected within 24 hours of your purchase. You may not reschedule your purchased event date or time for any reason. You may transfer your purchase to anyone over the age of 21 (unless noted otherwise) for any reason prior to your event date by visiting your Event Details Page found under 'My Vouchers.' No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss an event. Purchasers will be notified prior to canceled or rescheduled Adventures. Canceled Adventures will be fully refunded.
