*THANK YOU FREEBIES2DEALS for posting this awesome blog about Thanksgiving dinner staples! You still have time to make it to the grocery stores for these sales!
Ok, Thanksgiving is almost upon us. I decided that we needed to break down the prices of the “Staple” items most of us use on Thanksgiving Day. So, I’ve put together a list of the prices for Walmart,Target and Smith’s (my local Kroger store).
Here is the breakdown:
As you can see the Smith’s sale actually is the cheapest option if you just need to purchase all of the side options. And, Walmart has the cheapest price for the Turkey. And, if you have other smaller chain stores in your area, you might even find better prices than that. So, be watching.
Also, even though Walmart’s side dish items are more expensiv ethan the Kroger owned stores, combined with the Turkey prices, in this scenario, it is cheaper overall to purchase your entire Thanksgiving Meal items through Walmart. You can actually purchase your Thanksgiving and feed a family of 6-8 for only $21!
Purchase Entire Thanksgiving Meal for $21 at Walmart!
12 Pound Grade A Turkey $.68 a lb
2 Cans Campbell’s Gravy $.75 Each
3 Cans Del Monte Green Beans $.68 each

2 Boxes of Stove Top Stuffing $1.25 Each
5 lb Bag of Potatoes $1.47
