12/03/2011: Learn More About My Shopping Trip! ~ TheItMom.com: Coupon and Freebie Deals

12.03.2011: This was an awesome savings day altogether. In addition to the savings from couponing and freebies, Carrabba's Italian Grill hosted an Appreciation Luncheon for Amici Club members where they served us a 4-course meal (complete with red wine, beverages, appetizers, salad, pasta, chicken entree, and dessert).

We did some quick couponing trips at our local Galleria at Sunset shopping mall, Target, Walgreens, and CVS. I was able to pick-up my FREE Victoria Secret (VS) panty, redeem my $10 Secret Reward from Facebook (I bought a travel size Noir perfume spray), and my FREE 2oz Be Enchanted Bath and Body Works body lotion. We also stocked up on a few items - nothing extreme, but stuff that was a few pennies or free to load up on our stockpile. TOTAL SPENT: $20 (Retail $206)

Shopping Tips:

1. Don't forget to sign up for your favorite stores or restaurant's email newsletters or clubs. They often offer free items on special occasions or on your birthdays and anniversaries. I have the freebies list of all the stores that offer items for free just for signing up for their email newsletters on TheItMom.com freebies website.

2. Don't forget that Facebook is also a great resource for freebies like my Secret Rewards from Victoria's Secret and my 2oz Be Enchanted Bath and Body Lotion. I've scored many more brand name freebies through Facebook as well.

3. If the item is a few cents or free, continue to purchase the items to keep your stockpile closet filled! Since most sales go through a 12-week cycle, three months is a long time before the next sale comes up. You'll want to keep yourself stocked so you aren't spending retail prices on things you've run out of.
